Prego Ristorante and Bar is an Italian restaurant with a cozy welcoming ambiance. Their name “Prego” translates to “Please come in” or simply “Welcome” in English. It’s an expression of hospitality that defines the cozy welcoming interiors, but also the staff that are always on hand to assist.
We decided to try-out their 2-course executive lunch set for 690++ PHP which composes either of a main course and an appetiser or dessert, we chose the later for the staff suggested their special Tiramisu.
A meal at Prego starts with a fresh basket of bread along with tomato salsa, pâté, and creamy good butter. We were offered another basket, which we accepted without a hitch, a butter and bread combo was in the works.
Our main course arrived within the time frame of 15-20 minutes.
Scalloppine de Vitello Al Marsala or simply Veal cutlets in Marsala wine sauce. A veal patty with vegetables on the side.
Tiramisu is a popular Italian dessert made of ladyfingers dipped in coffee, layered with a whipped mixture of eggs, sugar, and mascarpone cheese, flavoured with cocoa. Its name translates to “Cheer me up!” in English and each of scoop of this charming dessert just builds on our positive experience.
There’s so much to try at Prego at City of Dreams Manila and we’re glad to know they are expanding to SM Aura Premier in Bonifacio Global City.
