SEAFOOD & JAPANESE STATION
A fishy welcome with the seafood section by the entrance and at the same time so tempting. Be greeted by the fresh lobsters laid out on the ice, slices of salmon sushi ready for the picking and other fresh seafood on display.
Imagine the sight of huge chunks of roasted meat pulled out from the oven and portioned for display. The herb crusted ends of the Roast beef are sliced to expose the red raw center that’s oozing with meaty juices. Along side all that beef is the rack of lamb just waiting to be picked apart.
Get in the mood with all the delectable cold cuts and smoked meats. A whole station filled with various finger foods and mouth amusers that’s bound to get you in the mood.
Besides the usual build your own pasta, you have also the option to compose your own risotto, just be patient as it may take more than 5 minutes, but there are staff assigned to the Pasta Station for convenient delivery. They make risotto well enough be a highlight, a creamy alternative to rice.
An assortment of cakes, dessert cups, shot glasses filled with sweetness, and many more beautiful pieces ready to be eaten. The dessert presentation at Medley isn’t as alluring as the bakeshop / dessert parlour setup at High Street Cafe at Shangri-La Fort where staff pick for you the treats you’ve chosen from the display. We feel the layout doesn’t give as much importance to every piece, the mass amount of options detracts from being special. We appreciate the variety they offer. There’s surely something for everyone.
